Corner Cabinet - Large

Being asked to construct this cabinet was extraordinary as this allowed me to add some artistic design and qualities while incorporating durable construction to last a life time.  A custom piece personalized by you will make an heirloom that will be cherished by all who admire your finishing touches.

This cabinet is constructed using the finest grade of Alder hardwood through-out most of the cabinet and a high quality grade of Birch plywood (not particle board) was used for the top, interior mid and lower body shelves. The middle cabinet shelf is adjustable and includes all shelf clips.

Hardwood moldings and accessories also add to the quality of this cabinet.  The inset door uses a pair of quality Antique English self-closing hinges and I’ve designed the removable birch plywood door insert for easy painting if you so choose.  All that is needed to complete this cabinet is a door pull of your choice, which can be purchased at any hardware store.

If you prefer, you can get detailed instructions for painting this project from Gayle Oram’s new 2007 book, Rosemaling Styles, Study and Design, which is offered below.

If you would like to have this cabinet constructed using other woods, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss the available options.

The overall dimensions are 29-3/4”w x 45”h x 19-1/4”d.
