Keeping with the ale-bowl feel I have added soft touches to the rim design and left ample room for your delicate painting style.  This piece is also featured in Gayle Oram’s 2007 book, Rosemaling Styles, Study and Design.

This bowl was made with the finest grade of poplar hardwood and carefully hand turned for enjoyment by all.
